Compliance
Your safety is our priority. We strictly adhere to all UK and European safety standards.
- 0.3 W/m² EU Standard
All of our sunbeds are fitted with 0.3 W/m² EU-compliant UV tubes, in line with European consumer safety regulations. These regulations limit the maximum UV output of sunbeds to 0.3 watts per square metre, which is broadly comparable to strong natural sunlight experienced in parts of Southern Europe during summer.
The aim of this standard is to reduce the intensity of UV exposure compared to older, higher-output sunbeds, which have been illegal since 2009. The 0.3 standard applies to both commercial and domestic sunbeds, meaning modern home sunbeds are subject to the same UV output limits as professional salons.
Deliver more even UV exposure across the body.
Support a deeper, longer-lasting gradual tan.
Reduce (but not remove) the likelihood of over-exposure.
- Important Health Information
UV exposure always carries health risks, and compliance with the 0.3 standard does not make sunbed use risk-free.
- Sunbed use is illegal for anyone under 18.
- Not suitable for individuals with very fair or sensitive skin (Skin Type 1).
- Not suitable for those with a personal or family history of skin cancer.
- Consult a doctor if you are taking photosensitising medications.
